Signs That Its Time To Quit Your Job
Let's face it, everybody or almost everyone wants to get job after graduating. But after getting the job, what's in store? It's either room for improvement or room of disappointment. Wherever it goes, just be sure to think of what you really want.
Signs that its time to quit
1. Going to work is tiring - You dread Mondays. Even on Sunday night, you just stare out of the blue and wish that you could go back to Saturday. All you do is wish that its time to go home.
2. Your mind is all about work - Even on weekends, you can't rest your mind. You kept on thinking about your work. You are wide awake during late nights and sighing because of your work.
2. You procrastinate more than work - Everyone lax's sometimes but if on a daily basis? No. Your job should be exciting and engaging. If you always spend time on seeing what's trending on twitter or reading the talks of the people, it's about time you rethink.
3. Wanting to go home so early - Why be home early when you won't be doing anything at home? Even being busy can't stop you from thinking about home.
4. Feeling sick always - During office time you think like you are having an headache, stomachache or like all parts of your body aches? If everything aches, stop overthinking about work. No work is worth risking your health.
5. No room for growth - After a promise of advancement, the position is given to a new employee. You just sit there and continue being stuck in your work that you can do even with your eyes closed.
6. Complaining becomes a thing - You always vent out about your work. No positive vibes. All back to the why should I? You don't wan to go extra mile 'cause you know that it'll just be a waste of time.
7. Lost your voice - Feels like you're just another robot being dragged and tasked to do this. No rewards or good job for a job well done. Words are all stuck in your mind because it is what it is for them.
8. Pay is all it takes - You are just staying because you receive cash every month end or whatsoever. No job, no money. Even if it takes away all your happiness in life.
9. No respect for you - If you're boss or other employees can't respect you, how do they expect you to give back? Respect if earned, not freely given.
9. You are reading this article - Why are you here on the first place? If you really give time or most of the time you think of quitting, that alone is a sign that you should let go and part ways with your employer.
Just give enough time to rethink of "what ifs" before finally deciding. If you think you deserve better, go on and let the universe hand it to you.
